FAQ

Common Questions

How is the safety score calculated?

You start at 100 and lose points for known risk factors — hazard-brand panels, missing GFCI protection, warm outlets, aluminum-era wiring, and so on — weighted by how strongly each correlates with real electrical fires and shock hazards.

Is a low score an emergency?

A low score means your home has multiple risk factors worth addressing, not that something is failing right now. The exception: warm outlets, burning smells, or breakers that trip repeatedly deserve a call today regardless of score.

Is the follow-up estimate really free?

Yes — a licensed electrician reviews your answers, inspects the flagged items in person, and gives you flat-rate pricing in writing. No diagnostic fee for score-related visits, no obligation.

Scored Lower Than You’d Like?

The fix-it list is cheaper than you think — and the estimate is free.
